Full-Time A-Grade Electrician Position :

As our first hire, you hold a pivotal role in shaping the fabric of our business. At the beginning you’ll work closely with Zac, the founder of Whiley Electrical as you get up to speed on our methods and work standards. Over time as the business grows you’ll be a vital source of information and guidance for more junior team members. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to get a front row seat to the workings of a successful electrical business!

Role Responsibilities:

 

● Performing high quality trade work: You take pride in your work, across all aspects of a job, both the work that is seen and unseen 

● Installing in accordance with current standards and regulations: No matter how busy your day gets, you’ll always install to standard with a passion for ensuring all our work is to the highest quality and meets the rule book.

 

● High level communication with clients: This is critical for us to build great relationships with our clients. You will have the opportunity to connect with clients, show interest and make the clients feel understood and valued.

 

● Time Management on the job site: You will need to be able to manage your time on the job site, it is important that you understand processors of the task and be able to complete them in a timely manner.

 

● Communication with Zac: Communication helps us to work seamlessly together. Regular communication enables a better schedule and less mistakes and allows us to work at the best standard for our clients.

● Vehicle and Stock Management: Keeping your van clean and tidy. This will not only look good but will allow you to work fluently. You will also need to keep a stocktake on the most common items that we use so that we have them readily available.

 

● Completion of documentation before leaving site: All certification, job notes, time allocation, photos uploaded.

 

Role Expectations:

 

● Come to work with a passion for delivering exceptional service, adhering to standards and regulations without compromise.

 

● Ensure your schedule is correct and communicate any suggestions to help your day run smoother.

 

● At the end of each day, you'll ensure all tasks are completed, including job notes, certificates and that your van is clean and restocked.

 

● Attend work with a positive mindset, fit for work and a willingness to help and be helped so you can continue to grow in your role

 

● Ensure your company van is adequately stocked for the work you need to complete by checking your schedule the day before and in the morning

 

● Come to work dressed in a clean uniform, showered and looking your part.

 

● Communicate effectively with clients and Zac on a daily basis.

 

● Be healthy for work and not under the influence of any substance.

 

● Although ideally we’d like to avoid mistakes, sometimes they occur despite our best efforts. It is important to be completely honest about any mistakes that are made and/or if you’re not sure about anything. Why? Because we care about you understanding how to navigate challenging situations and learn how to become the best you can be
