Trades Assistant

About the Role

In this busy role, you will be required to provide mechanical support and ensure SPL operational facilities and machinery function to their maximum efficiency with minimal disruption in output.  This includes:

• Assisting with preventative maintenance services to all laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, boilers, compressors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems;
• Assisting in the configuration and installation of new machinery;
• Maintaining our materials, products and services

Skills and Experience

• Previous maintenance experience, particularly relating to preventative maintenance, pneumatic fault finding, conveyors and welding;
• Confined space certificate desirable or willing to obtain;
• Restricted electrical experience will be advantageous;
• Boiler and Forklift tickets will also be advantageous;
• Flexibility in your work hours and the availability to work weekends.
