The Position

We have an exciting opportunity for a full time pastry chef to join our team in Essendon. This role will suit a passionate chef with HACCP knowledge. We are happy to provide all necessary training, but experience in a similar environment will be advantageous. 

 

Tasks & responsibilities

• Bake inclusions and make ripples
• Prepare gelato inserts for gelato cakes, assemble and decorate 
• Prepare chocolate decorations
• Work closely with head chef and provide support and assistance to all daily operations.
• To maintain current HACCP and associated programs
• Able to work in a fast pace dynamic environment and maintain deadlines.

 

Qualifications & experience

• Previous experience (at least 2 years) working in a fast and dynamic environment.
• Great time management and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain high and consistent standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Can add to our great team culture.
