CARPENTRY TRADE ASSISTANT / SKILLED LABOURER WANTED

Kuda Bathrooms Gold Coast is looking for skilled labourer or Trade Assistant with carpentry experience to join our Gold Coast, bathroom renovation team. 

 

ABOUT KUDA BATHROOMS

We are a small, family run business with offices on the Gold Coast & Sunshine Coast. We work very hard to ensure our staff are well cared for, well trained and enjoy coming to work each day. We do this through good training, planning, communication and competitive pay. 

 

THE ROLE

We renovate bathrooms and that’s all we do. This means you will start every day knowing exactly what's in store for you and will have plenty of opportunity to learn a specialist trade in bathroom carpentry. 

We work in a range of bathrooms, from basic bathroom refurbs, all the way up to high end designer spaces that any tradesmen would be proud of.

 

EXPERIENCE

1. Have at least 2 years’ experience working closely with a carpenter on residential renovations
2. Proficient at handling power tools, drills, nail guns, saws, jackhammers 
3. Demolition 
4. Concrete cutting
5. Assisting with framing 
6. Assisting with cutting and nailing sheets 
7. Experience with levels & lasers

 

REQUIREMENTS

1. Ute or suitable trade vehicle 
2. Set of basic hand tools/power tools - We will provide specialty power tools
3. Good attitude and eager to learn our processes
4. Drivers Licence 
5. White Card
6. First Aid Certificate (advantage but not necessary)
7. Is familiar and experienced assisting with all carpentry aspects of a bathroom renovation including, stripping, concrete cutting, framing, sheeting
8. Excellent time management skills
9. Be well presented and proud of your work
10. Supportive team member
11. Good communicator 
12. Professional and reliable 

WHAT'S ON OFFER

$35 to $40 per hour, Plus Super. Rate dependant on experience.  38-hour work week. 

Will We Consider ABN? Yes! 

1. Invoices Paid Weekly
2. Required to wear our uniform on site & provides all own tools
