About the role

Opal Alterations and Dry Cleaning is seeking experienced dry cleaning and alterations professionals to join our team in Belconnen, ACT. This full-time position offers an immediate start and the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while providing exceptional customer service.

What you'll be doing

Dry cleaner:

• Providing high-quality dry cleaning services to our customers
• Expertly operating dry cleaning equipment and machinery
• Assisting customers with clothing care and maintenance advice
• Maintaining a clean, organized and safe work environment
• Promoting Opal Alterations and Dry Cleaning's services to new and existing customers

Alterationist: 

• Conducting professional garment alterations and tailoring
• Maintaining a clean, organized and safe work environment

What we're looking for

• At least basic level of experience in the dry cleaning or alterations industry
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce consistently high-quality work
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanour
• Proficiency in operating dry cleaning equipment and machinery
• Experience with garment alterations and tailoring
• A commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment
