THE ROLE
  
We are currently seeking Mechanical Fitters for ongoing shutdown works with Australia’s biggest mining producers.
  
As a Mechanical Fitter you will assist and undertake planned maintenance, shutdowns and project works on fixed plant mining equipment. Proven Capabilities with:

• Mine Site Refurbishment.
• Major Assets Overhauls.
• Vibrating or Rotating Equipment Installation.
• Shuttle Maintenance and Repairs.
• Asset Inspection and Reporting.
• Specialised Conveyor Maintenance.
• Executing Precision Maintenance Works.
• Able to Read, Interpret & Follow Engineering Drawings.
• Ongoing Preventative Maintenance.
• Gearbox and Drive Motor replacements
• Pulley Change Outs
• Warman Pump refurbishments and replacements
• Mechanical equipment inspections and reporting
• Competent with laser alignment and rotating equipment - ROTALIGN Touch experience advantageous

• Relevant Australian Recognised Trade Qualification.
• Working at Heights.
• Enter & Work in Confined Spaces.
• Construction White Card.
• Australian Work Rights.
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical & ongoing Drug & Alcohol screens.
• License to Perform High-Risk Work is Advantageous.
