NBS Metal Roofing is a locally owned company established in 2006. We deliver a premium and extensive range of quality services to our local community of Cairns as well as surrounding and remote areas.

We do all aspects of metal roofing. This includes domestic and commercial buildings, new and replacement roofs, roof maintenance and remote roofing work.

THE ROLE

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Metal Roofer to join our dynamic team located in Cairns, Far North Queensland.  This is a casual position with full-time hours with an opportunity to advance to full-time employment for the right candidate.

Job tasks and responsibilities:

• Roof replacement
• Metal fascia and gutter
• Domestic and commercial projects
• Wall cladding
• Domestic and commercial maintenance
• Leak detection

Skills & Experience

• Metal Roofing experience (minimum 1 year preferred)
• Hold a valid Work Safely in Construction card
• Hold a valid Working at Heights ticket or prepared to obtain ticket
• Hold a valid Australian drivers licence & access to reliable transport
• Own tools preferred but not essential
• Excellent work ethic with a focus on getting the job done
• Team player with ability to manage time and work effectively with minimal supervision
• Positive attitude, punctual, reliable
• Physical capacity to meet the demands of the job
• Commitment to safety

Must live locally or able to relocate to Cairns.
