About the role

Beenleigh RSL & Golf Club is seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Greenkeeper to join our dynamic grounds team. As an Apprentice Greenkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the impeccable condition of our 18-hole golf course, ensuring it remains a premier destination for our members and visitors. This is a full-time role based in Mount Warren Park, QLD.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the golf course, including mowing, edging, raking bunkers, and repairing any damage
• Performing irrigation system checks and adjustments to ensure optimal water coverage
• Operating and maintaining a variety of grounds keeping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and aerators
• Collaborating with the Greenkeeping team to identify and implement improvements to course conditions
• Adhering to all safety protocols and environmental regulations
• Complete appropriate Tafe training requirements

• Strong physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of the role
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• A willingness to learn and expand your knowledge of greenkeeping practices
• A valid driver's licence and the ability to operate grounds keeping equipment
