Trades Assistant

About the Business

ProStar Joinery is a rapidly expanding National Timber Joinery Business with an established branch in Brendale, north Brisbane. 

We are currently looking for FULL-TIME passionate and motivated Trades Assistants wo can assist our installers on-site with installing our cabinetry and wardrobe systems, as well as assisting our factory team with the assembly and packing of cabinetry orders. This role is ideal for someone who likes hands on work and fulfilling various jobs day to day. We value motivation and initiative above all else.

You will be responsible for:

• Assisting installers with set up and layout of cabinets
• Supporting trades with manual tasks, including the use of tools
• Deliver product and stock to project sites
• Assist with cabinet and wardrobe door assembly
• General factory assistance as required

We want to hear from you if you:

• Have knowledge of cabinet making and the ability to read and interpret plans (preferred but not required)
• Have a current construction white card
• Have a valid full open driver's license 
• Possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Have a sense of urgency, and ability to multitask and work productively
• Have a proactive can-do attitude
• Physically fit and able to manually lift and move product
• Can adhere to Work, Health and Safety Procedures
• Own reliable transport
