Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic qualified Stonemason and/or Apprentice Stonemason to join our skilled team. This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to learn the art and craft of stonemasonry from experienced professionals, working on a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities Apprentice:

• Assist experienced stonemasons in the cutting, shaping, and laying of stone benchtops
• Learn to use and maintain stonemasonry tools and equipment
• Assist in the installation of stone on site
• Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times
• Attend training sessions and complete coursework as required
• Perform general site maintenance and clean-up duties

Key Responsibilities qualified Stonemason:

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Genuine interest in stonemasonry and construction
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour
• Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced professionals
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Basic understanding of construction safety practices
• Previous experience in construction or related fields is a plus, but not required

Pay Apprenticeship: $30,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year

Pay qualified Stonemason: $32-$35
