Tasks & responsibilities

Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in light vehicles.
Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, brake servicing, and tyre fitting.
Repair and replace faulty components such as transmissions, engines, and suspension systems.
Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve complex issues.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety standards.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues and repair solutions.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in automotive technology and repair techniques.

Qualifications & experience

Minimum qualification: Certificate III in Light Vehicle Motor Mechanics.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
A valid driver’s license.
