Spray Painter Prepper

At Aero Jacks/MX Aircraft Co. we specialise in General Aviation maintenance and the manufacturing of the MX2 and MXS Aerobatic aircraft. The MX is a fully carbon Fibre aircraft which has lifted the bench mark for aerobatic aircraft.

We seek to appoint a motivated experienced Spray Painter Prepper who can assist our current painter and carry out high quality work.

Job Overview:

Reporting to the Workshop Manager you’ll be experienced and skilled in all aspects of spray painting. You will need a thorough understanding of processes and procedures, attention to detail and a demonstrated commitment to problem solving and collaboration. You will need to be hands-on and have the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business.

The position is a Full-Time role.

Essential experience and skills:

• Minimum 3 years relevant trade experience.
• Ability to demonstrate high quality technical skill.
• Ability to adapt Spray Painting methods to Aviation standards.
• A continuous improvement mindset.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to read and follow detailed instructions.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Highly detailed with excellent hand skills.
• Effective time management to ensure punctual delivery.
