About the role

We currently have a role available for a full time indoor plant maintenance technician.  

Your duties will include:

  • Servicing and maintenance of Advance Plants' indoor plants in a wide variety of our client's locations throughout the Brisbane region (such as shopping centres, hotels and offices).
  • Installation of new indoor plants at existing and new client sites as required.

The successful candidate will be hard working, passionate about horticulture and will possess a very high level of attention to detail, taking the utmost care and pride in maintaining our indoor plants in outstanding condition.

A qualification in horticulture is advantageous, but not essential. However, a willingness to work hard, in what can be a physically demanding role, is essential.

Our typical hours are 6 am–2 pm, although these can vary depending on our clients needs.

Skills and experience

The successful candidate will:

  • Have previous experience in a similar role or alternate horticultural experience (including, for example, experience as a florist)
  • Have a responsible, proactive and energetic attitude to all tasks
  • Neat and tidy presentation with good communication skills
  • Have a current Australian drivers licence.
