Experienced Precast Concrete Staff

Our well-established concrete precast factory in Smeaton Grange is seeking Experienced General Hands to join our hardworking team. If you have hands-on experience in the construction or manufacturing industry, particularly with concrete or precast products, we want you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the production of precast concrete products.
• Interpret and follow engineering drawings and specifications.
• Handle, load, and unload materials safely.
• Operate basic machinery and tools as required.
• Perform general factory labouring duties, including cleaning, maintaining equipment, and setting up work areas.
• Assist with mould preparation and finishing of concrete products.
• Prepare formwork, fitments, and steel reinforcement pre pour.
• Follow strict safety protocols and ensure a clean and safe work environment.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience in a precast concrete facility or similar manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials and perform manual labour.
• Familiarity with operating concrete machine trowels (desirable).
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Current drivers licence and own transport.
• 5:00am shift start time, Monday – Friday with some overtime on offer.
