Spare Parts Controller

We are a substantial almond grower in the Sunraysia region looking to fill our Spare Parts Controller position.       The successful applicant will have the opportunity to control the spare parts on our property at Hattah. Spare parts are essential for the servicing and repairing of our fleet of tractors, almond harvesting equipment, orchard vehicles and sprayers. 

 

Working under the direction of our Workshop Manager the following duties will be undertaken by the successful applicant:

·Assume full responsibility for the ordering of all machinery parts required in our workshop.

·Deal with parts suppliers and seek out best supply options for the company.

·Maintain on farm stock of parts to keep machinery operating.

·Be responsible and control all movements of parts, from collection at suppliers to delivery to mechanics on farm.

·Keep detailed records of all part movements.Help develop systems to track part movements.

 

The successful applicant will have:

·Some basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of agricultural spare parts.

·Demonstrated organisational skills.

·Computer skills in excel and other relevant software.
