We’re on the hunt for a building and pest inspector to join the close knit team at ACT Property Inspections.

We pride ourselves on delivering our customers with the four mandatory reports which are required for the sale of a residential property. As a team member of ACT Property Inspections, you would uphold our commitment to the fast turnaround of these accurate, unbiased and thorough reports.

What are we looking for in a Building and Pest Inspector?

• Excellent customer service skills
• High level verbal and written communication skills with great attention to detail
• Knowledge of the building industry
• An exceptional eye for detail
• High level computer and data entry skills
• Ability to work unsupervised and meet set workloads
• Capable of working in tight spaces (sub floor and roof cavity inspections with clearances from as little as 400mm) and climbing onto roof surface.
• A current drivers license

What are the responsibilities of the role?

• Inspecting clients premises thoroughly and efficiently while preparing reports to be included in the contract of sale of a residential property
• Following our tried and trusted work method on every inspection to maintain our high level of consistency
• Confidently liaising with buyers, sellers and selling agents, and proving sound advice regarding report findings
• Upholding a commitment to professional and punctual behaviours
• Using competent computer skills to finalise building reports within a short timeframe
• Being a friendly, approachable and fun-loving part of our team.

Remuneration:

• Salary will be negotiated with the successful candidate, depending on skills and experience
• A fully equipped and maintained vehicle
• Full time work hours (Mon-Fri)
