Maxilift Australia requires a skilled trade assistant for our busy Regency Park workshop.

This role is responsible for provides practical support to tradespeople & technicians on worksites. Their duties include cleaning and maintaining sites and equipment, performing manual tasks as requested by senior staff, and operating machinery and power tools.

 

The successful applicant: 

• Assisting tradespeople with general tasks (cutting/preparing materials, welding ect )

• Operating machinery & using power tools in compliance with OH&S regulations

•Welding skills an advantage (not necessary)

• Cleaning, preparing & maintaining workshop/yard sites & equipment 

• Performing assigned duties independently & autonomously

• Ensuring tools & equipment are stored safely & workshop

• Adhering to workplace health & safety guidelines (this is paramount) 

• Self-motivation & willingness to work hard 

• Ability to use tools & carry out physical tasks as required

• Good organisation skills & ability to prioritise tasks

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Punctuality & reliable 

• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with co-workers & management 

• Driver’s license or reliable mode of transport to work - Mandatory requirement
