Rapid Smash Repairs are on the lookout for an experienced (5+ years) Assembler/ Panel Beater.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is after full time permanent work, with optional overtime.

We are a well-established accident repair workshop based in Reservoir, covering all aspects of Automotive collision repair, a high standard of workmanship, with a great team environment and excellent customer relations has been attributed to the company's success. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Assembler to join our team..

If you are someone that’s looking for a permanent, secure position with top wages, please submit your application. Mechanical experience would be bonus but not essential.

Offering up to $1500 weekly (incl. Tax) Plus 11.5% super for the right candidate.

Monday-Friday (optional start & finish times 6.30am to 8am and finish time 2.30pm to 4pm). Total 40 hour week.

Paid day off for your birthday!

Optional paid overtime for Saturday work 8am-12noon

Immediate start. (if notice is required please advise notice period)

Assembler

  • Dismantle damaged vehicles.

  • Assemble cars pre & post repair.

  • Assist other team members as necessary.

  • Panel Beater

    • Repair vehicles as per the repair method.

    • Repair vehicles to a high-quality finish. 

    • Skilled time management.

    • Experience is required.
       

About you:

  • Must have a team first attitude.

  • Reliable & Consistent work ethic.

  • Skilled time management. 

  • Trade qualification in relevant field.

  • At least 5 years’ experience fully qualified. 

  • Love what you do and want to have a laugh along the way

  • Permanent Resident or appropriate Australian working rights.

  • Own a reliable car and have a drivers license.

  • Own Tools optional

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Removing and refitting damaged panels

  • Replacing or repairing damaged parts.

  • Re-jointing repaired parts with welding equipment

  • Repairing dents with plastic fillers and files 

  • Performing other cosmetic work as required to maintain the like-new look of the car as instructed by management.

  • Ability to work with varied models and types of vehicles

 

To be successful in this position, you will:

  • Possess trade qualifications and previous experience as a panel beater.

  • Demonstrate skill in smash work.

  • Be flexible and willing to perform a wide range of tasks.

  • Have an eye for detail and a strong work ethic.

  • Possess good time management skills.

  • Punctual and reliable.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
