INDUSTRIAL SPRAY PAINTER - METAL CAGES STILLAGES

A great opportunity for an Industrial Spray Painter to take over our client's painting responsibilities. Our client is a leading steel pallet hiring business, which has been Australian-owned and operated since 1978, and is seeking an experienced Spray Painter to secure a casual position with a view to permanent employment in Braeside (Bayside/Southeastern suburbs). Reporting to the Factory Manager, you will be involved in spray painting collapsible type 3 stillages. You will work closely with management and eventually take responsibility for the paint department.

Responsibilities;

• Previous spray painting experience - (preferably on Industrial equipment)

• Adhering to production schedules

• Sanding, Grinding and Masking

• Colour Matching, Blending and Mixing

• Finishing off stillages/ cages for delivery

• Clean, organised, with a professional approach and attention to detail

• Willingness to learn and take responsibility for the paint department and maintenance of equipment

To be successful;

• In-depth knowledge of paint mixing and spraying techniques.

• Clean, organised, with a professional approach and attention to detail

• Ability to work with chemicals.

• Must be a Permanent Resident or an Australian Citizen.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Forklift licence or proficiency to obtain a licence.

• Must have 2x working references

• Reliable transport
