As our Truck Accessories Fitter, you will work under our highly experienced Diesel Mechanic to support each truck fit-up requirements to a high level standard. There are many aspects to this position and will be detailed if you are short-listed. 

Overview:

• Join an established and expanding company
• Permanent full-time position
• Located 15 minutes from Launceston
• Above award payrate + relevant award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances + superannuation

 

Qualifications and experience:

• 3 + Years working in the truck industry
• Advantageous if Trade qualified 
• Will accept enquiries from 3rd to 4th Year Apprentice Diesel Mechanics
• Drivers License 

 

Key Responsibilities and attributes: 

The successful candidate will be required to install a wide range of truck accessories on a day to day basis with precision and care.
Inspect and test installations for safety and functionality and meet our exceptionally high standard of workmanship. 

Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including managing tools and equipment and cleanliness of the workshop will be essential and working to efficiently meet installation timelines whilst maintaining quality standards will be paramount. 

A genuine interest in trucks and contributing to high quality workmanship for a premium customer base.
