Industrial Electrician

About the role

IDC Electrical Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team in Narangba, Queensland. This is a full-time position that will involve performing a wide range of electrical installation, maintenance and repair tasks in an industrial setting.

What you'll be doing

• Carry out electrical installations, upgrades, and modifications to industrial machinery, equipment, and control systems
• Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and components
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults, and implement corrective actions
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards
• Maintain detailed records and documentation of all work undertaken
• Collaborate with other tradespeople and technicians to coordinate projects
• Comply with all relevant electrical, safety, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

• Qualified electrician with a valid Australian Electrician's Licence
• Minimum 5 years' experience as an Industrial Electrician
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including PLCs, motors, and control panels
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Commitment to workplace safety and a proven track record of safe work practices
• Good communication and teamwork skills
