Maintenance Shift Electrician- Afternoon

Terra Harvest Australia is an Australian owned food manufacturer providing well known products under the Fantastic and Soho brands to domestic and overseas customers. Wholly Australian owned, with our manufacturing site based in Dandenong Victoria.

Due to the growth of the organisation, we are looking for an Maintenance shift Electrician to assist the Maintenance Supervisor out at our Dandenong Site in Victoria.

As a Maintenance Shift Electrician at Terra Harvest you will be exposed to a wide range of tasks involving many different types of equipment including automated packaging and processing machines, ovens and dryers, chillers, boilers, robots, motors and gearboxes. The role of the Maintenance Shift Electrician is extremely diverse, and no day is the same as the last. This position does not provide the ability to work from home. Working within our maintenance department you will support our operational areas by being involved in:

• Preventative maintenance
• Commissioning of new equipment
• Fabrication and installation projects
• Repairs and troubleshooting
• Testing electrical apparatus and circuits
• Maintain, operate and test all safety equipment
• Robotics

 

Is this you?

Offering the security of the food industry and a stimulating and challenging work environment, this is an excellent opportunity for a licensed electrician with experience in:

• Manufacturing or production environments;
• Installation, fabrication and maintenance of machinery and equipment;
• Preventive and breakdown maintenance;
• PLC fault finding (Omron,Seimens experience preferred);
• Variable speed drive systems;
• Robotics;
• Automated packaging machinery for high volume FMCG.
• A mixture of electrical and mechanical exposure.

We are looking for an Afternoon shift Electrician, with the typical hours being 2:00pm-10:00pm
