About the Role

Due to its rapid and ongoing growth, our modern Fabrication Workshop now has exciting opportunities for experienced Sheet Metal Fabricators. Responsibilities will include:

• Fabricating sheet metal products, pipework and Kiosk’s in line with our transformer manufacturing. 
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and work orders to meet project specifications.
• Operating metalworking machinery, such as brake presses, Spot welder etc and possibilities to learn powder coating and laser welding.
• Welding and joining metal materials using MIG, TIG, and other welding techniques.
• Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.
• Conducting regular inspections of completed projects for accuracy and quality assurance.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

About You 

To be successful, you will be able to demonstrate:

• Trade qualification in Sheet Metal Work (Cert III in Engineering – Sheet Metal Work or equivalent).
• Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Tradesman.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, as well as metalworking machinery.
• The ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Commitment to maintaining a high standard of safety in the workplace.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with clients and colleagues.
