Diesel Mechanic Marine

About the role

White Knight Marine Services is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic Marine to join our team in Hillarys, Western Australia. This full-time role will involve the maintenance and repair of marine diesel engines and associated equipment, ensuring safe and reliable operation for our clients.

What you'll be doing

• Diagnose, repair, and overhaul marine diesel engines and auxiliary equipment

• Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance on vessels

• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues to minimise downtime

• Maintain detailed records of all work performed

• Provide technical advice and guidance to vessel operators

• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard and in compliance with industry regulations

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification in Diesel Mechanics or a related trade

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably in a marine environment

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety

• Knowledge of marine engine systems and components

• Proficient in the use of diagnostic equipment and tools
