Catering Equipment Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Catering Equipment Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and servicing of a wide range of commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment, including ovens, fryers, dishwashers, combi ovens, and more.

The ideal candidate will be motivated, solutions-focused, and capable of working independently while delivering exceptional customer service. While formal qualifications as a refrigeration mechanic, electrician, or gasfitter/gas plumber are not mandatory, they are highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service, maintain, and repair a variety of commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment.

• Diagnose faults and perform effective troubleshooting and repairs.

• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and complete repairs within set timeframes.

• Communicate clearly with clients on-site regarding work progress and estimated completion times.

• Accurately complete service reports and maintain detailed records of parts used.

• Adhere to all Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) policies and procedures.

• Collaborate with the broader team to achieve service delivery targets and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
