APPRENTICE GLAZIER

BUNBURY CITY GLASS is a local, family owned and operated business. 

 

We are ready to take on a new apprentices. Young or mature, we offer training to the right people. 

We are looking for a punctual, reliable person, with an eye for detail.

 

Applicants should have:

Completed year 10 either recently or not so recently. 

Like to work with your hands and read a tape measure

Hold a current C Class manual drivers licence

Have their own transport to and from work

Be able to pass drug and alcohol screen.

The job will involve working with our other glaziers/installers either in the factory or on site as required. 

 

You will learn on the job. This could be the start of a great career. You will learn the basic of float, laminated and toughened glass. You will learn Australian glass standards. Learn to cut mirror and glass in different thicknesses and sizes. You will learn to install showerscreens, splashbacks, windows, doors and shop fronts and sliding robe door in residential and commercial sites. We will also  train you to work safely with glass and glass machinery.

 

 

Working at Bunbury City Glass will offer the right person an opportunity to work within a small team and alongside people who have the knowledge and skills to assist you to become a qualified Glazier. The apprenticeship will be completed in thirty six months.
