Labourers (Pallet Racking)

S.O.M Solutions is a well established business specialising in the installation of Pallet Racking, Mezzanine Floors and Warehouse fit-outs all over the Central Coast, Sydney and Newcastle region. With over 30 years experience, our team is growing.

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Pallet Racking Labourer to assist in the installation, maintenance, and dismantling of pallet racking systems. This role involves working as part of a team to ensure the safe and efficient setup of storage solutions in warehouses, distribution centers, and industrial sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, good physical fitness, and a commitment to workplace safety.

This is a casual position, with the capacity to become permanent. 

 

Qualifications & experience:

• White Card (or willing to obtain)
• Drivers License 
• Experience in Pallet Racking/Mezzanine Floors (not essential)
• Competent with Hand/Power Tools.

 

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Assist in the assembly, installation, and dismantling of pallet racking systems
• Heavy Lifting
• Travel, some sites may be in Sydney, Newcastle or the Central Coast. 
• Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from worksites
• Use hand and power tools to secure and adjust racking components
• Work at heights using ladders, scissor lifts, or other equipment as required
• Maintain a clean and organised worksite

 

Desirable, but not required:

• Forklift License 
• HR License 
• Truck License 
• Scissor Lift License
