Fire Alarm Technician Apprentice or TA

We’re seeking a motivated Apprentice Fire Alarm Technician or Trade Assistant to support our experienced fire technicians across a range of commercial projects. You’ll be assisting with the installation, servicing, testing, and maintenance of fire detection systems including fire panels, detectors, EWIS, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with installation of fire detection and warning systems

• Help complete routine maintenance and testing

• Use tools and equipment under supervision

• Keep job sites tidy and organised

• Work alongside senior techs and follow safety protocols

• Learn and develop skills across multiple systems and projects

Requirements:

• Interest in electrical/fire systems or construction trades

• White Card (Construction Induction)

• Current driver’s license (preferred)

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Experience as a TA in a similar industry (beneficial but not essential)

• Police check and Working With Children Check may be required for some sites
